On Saturday night the Nyack Park Conservancy hosted the Deckade fundraiser. To help collect money to build a local skate park we charged between $50-$100 for admission and inside had a silent auction and raffled off some Chocolate Skateboards product. There were free drinks, food a live band and a DJ. As an added treat the Bobshirt Skateboard  Collection was on view which includes decks from the 1990′s including brands like Chocolate, Real, World Industries, Cream, Blind, Plan B, 101, and Planet Earth. The evening was a great success and we raised over $12,000. As president of the Nyack Park Conservancy I would like to thank all the hardworking volunteers and my fellow board members who made this event such a great success. Special thanks to the Nyack Fencing Academy, Café Barcel, Defiant Brewery, and Chocolate Skateboards, and Russ and Justin from Wright Bros. for their generous support. If you would like to know more about the Nyack Park Conservancy please go to the following link. http://nyackpark.org/
