Belly up to the bar with a book this summer! The Valley Cottage Library is sponsoring a Book and Pub Club for adults who like to have a drink and/or dinner with their literature. Three interesting novels will be discussed, so read them in advance. The first book, The Incarnation, by Susan Barker, is centered on a protagonist who receives letters about his previous lives….Tuesday, July 12, 7PM at O’Malley’s, 108 Main Street. The second is Mr. Splitfoot, by Samantha Hunt, a story about two orphans living in a house full of abandoned children and run by a religious fanatic….Tuesday, August 16, 7 PM at Olive’s, 118 Main Street. The third and final book , Your Heart Is a Muscle the Size of a Fist, takes place during the 1999 Seattle protest against WTO (the World Trade Organization)….Tuesday, September 20, 7 PM, at Prohibition River, 82 Main Street.
