Last night the Nyack Park Conservancy sponsored a Back to the 80’s party at Prohibition River restaurant on Main Street in Nyack , and it was beyond all my expectations in terns of fun. There was  neon and   acid washed denim everywhere  and the  80’s dance music never stopped. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a  private bar and bartender added to the festive atmosphere. We don’t have the numbers yet, but judging by the size of the crowd we did well. This year the Conservancy is attempting to raise enough money to replace the old sprinkler system at Nyack Memorial Park. If you wasn't to know more about the Conservancy click  here.
