The Nyack Park Conservancy is a not for profit organization (501c3) formed in 2008 to raise funds to bring to life the vision for revitalization of the parks owned by the Village of Nyack, including the Comprehensive Master Plan for Memorial Park adopted by the Village in 2007. The Nyack Park Conservancy’s cornerstone event is its spring cocktail party and reception, which this year will be held - at the Glen Iris Estate, an iconic Hudson River property in Upper Nyack, from 6-8 pm on Saturday, June 8. The proceeds from this event will support the Playground fundraising effort. The Committee and our gracious hosts have worked so hard to put together the most elegant party in the most beautiful setting possible! This will truly be the social event of the season!! In addition to the incredible setting, the event will showcase delicious and inventive cocktail fare courtesy of the 9W Market in Palisades, delightful wines chosen specifically for the occasion by Joe Printz of Grape D’Vine in Tappan and Eli Hardof from Wine For All in Orangeburg, a specialty cocktail created for the occasion, and beer supplied by the Kuka Andean Brewing Company in Blauvelt. A silent auction will feature an original Hudson River photograph generously donated by Matt Hudson; a July 4th Hudson River boat cruise to view the fireworks; and chance to have a meal prepared for you in your home by the Mayors of the three Nyacks! The Nyack Academy of Music has graciously offered a discount for their summer concert series for all who attend the NPC Glen Iris event. The Cocktail Party invitation is attached. Please distribute widely. Tickets for the event are $95 per person can be purchased on the NPC playground initiative website via PayPal, at http://nyackplayground.org/donate. Please note the attendee’s names in the comments section for check in. Checks can also be mailed to the Nyack Parks Conservancy, PO Box 1014, Nyack NY 10960. Bring your friends and make this a truly memorable Nyack event!!  If you have any questions you can contact Nancy Blaker Weber at (914) 263-3403.
