Nyack Family Bike Day, celebrating bicycling and family fun, is scheduled for September 10th from 11 to 3 at Nayck Memorial Park.

Attendees will have numerous activities to pass the day away, including the AAA Bike Rodeo where children can learn how to ride a bike with guided help from expert volunteers and learn about safety awareness and bike education.

Enjoy a peaceful ride along the Hudson River or on a local, off-road trail, guided by an expert cyclist. Just don't forget your safety gear!

After the cycling, there is live music and food at Memorial Park.

This year, there is a bike collection program, scheduled Friday, July 1, between 11a.m. and 1p.m. at the Nyack Center (corner of Depew and Broadway.) You can donate gently used bikes that will be tuned by local professionals before they are matched with local families who could otherwise not afford bikes.

Nyack Family Bike Day net proceeds will benefit The Nyack Center whose mission is to support children, youth and families through educational and recreational programs.
