As President of the Nyack Park Conservancy I would like to invite you to join the Nyack community  for an evening on the banks of the Hudson River to celebrate and support the Nyack Park Conservancy’s efforts efforts to enhance Memorial Park for all.   Since its revitalization in 2012 NPC has played the lead role in raising funds to reconstruct the playground in Memorial Park. The redesigned park will include a new hill slide, swings, and a climbing structure, along with play areas specifically designed for toddlers. The group made up of local volunteers also works to support the ongoing efforts of the “Nyack Needs a Skatepark” group to build a skate plaza in Memorial Park. NPC continues to work closely with the Village of Nyack and the Nyack Parks Commission to ensure that the playground will be exciting, safe, and well maintained.   The cocktail party is a fun, well-attended event with a live auction, live music, cocktails and light fare. This year’s event will be held at a beautiful, contemporary home that slopes down to the shores of the Hudson.   Tickets can be purchased in advance at the the Nyack Park Conservancy website at www.nyackparkconservancy.org    Catered by the 9W Market, wine provided by Grape D’Vine and beer from Defiant Brewing Company.
