Notte Di Fellini In Grand View

Last night I attended the Fellini Night special Gala presented by Rivertown Film in association with M & T Bank of Nyack on the beautiful grounds of an elegant Italianate villa on River Road in Grand View.

What an extraordinary evening under the stars in which to celebrate the film artistry of Federico Fellini and also to honor Harriet Cornell, Chairperson of the Rockland County Legislature and Roger Seiler, past Chair of Rivertown Film and former President of the Nyack Library.
Food was provided by The Hudson House, LaFontana, Lanterna and 8 North Broadway...all Nyack restaurants as well as Laraia's Cheese Shop in Nanuet, Marcello's Ristorante in Suffern, the Commissary in Tappan and  Ristorante Fafele in New York City.
In addition, summer wines flowed freely as guests were entertained by strolling musicians, belly dancers, opera singers and fire breathers.  There was also a Silent Auction as well as a live auction for a Trip to Rome sponsored by Perillo Tours...and the lucky winner obtained a round trip for two to Rome for under $3,000!
As the moon came out, several Fellini movies were projected on the back walls of the villa...what a wonderful finish to an incredible evening!
