I Love My Park Day is a statewide event to improve and bring visibility to the New York State park system, and it's needs.  This event will be held on Saturday, May 5. Volunteers from across the county will participate in the cleanup at our local, and surrounding area parks.

Rockland Lake State Park in Congers will be hosting "I Love My Park Day" this Saturday, May 5, from 10-2 p.m.

Volunteers will clear litter from the interior three mile trail of the lake, and on the trail down Hook Mountain, along the shore of the Hudson River leading toward Upper Nyack.

All are welcome, however, be sure to wear gloves, bring water, some bug spray, and have "fun".
