New City Fire Depart. Host Blood Drive

The New City Fire Department will be sponsoring a blood drive at their firehouse on Sunday, May 1 from 10:30 am until 3:00 pm, this event is open to all. The blood drive will be in memory of Sheelah Flynn, who died in 2006 from a deadly brain tumor, a Glioblastoma Multiforme. The blood drive is held in conjunction with the beginning of the National Brain Tumor Society's "Brain Tumor Awareness Month", held in May every year.
