Nearly Fall Rockland County

It is one of the things I love about the area. Really Fall is my favorite time of year. And it seems as it is ever looming. There is something for me about pulling on a lite coat with a pair of jeans and taking the dog for a walk while the leaves are beginning their changes. It makes me smile thinking that soon all of Piermont, Tappan, and Nyack will be covered in a rich tapestry of Auburn and Gold. That soon the nice quiet morning on the porch with a cup of cofee looking out towards Palisades will look like a painting of Cezanne's. The colurs and the patterns are what do it for me. A lot of people see fall as the beginning of a long cold winter. For me it is a moment of reflection. Part of it reminds me how lucky we are to live in Rockland County with its slight remove from the city but spectacular feel of the country.
