March Makes Up For Missing Snow This Winter In Nyack

Meteorologists consider winter to be from December through February for record keeping purposes. The normal snow fall for that period here in Nyack is 21 inches. This winter saw only 3.6 inches. We actually have had more snow in March then the previous three months. The kicker was we had 13 inches of rain, very unusual for winter time. Temperatures were about within one degree of the 125 year average. The hottest day was 65* and the coldest a bone chilling 2*.

The early part of this winter seemed pleasant enough but this March snow storm has everybody saying “ENOUGH ALREADY!!!”  I will be extremely happy to not see another flake of snow this year!!!Image title
