Considered the foremost American realist painter of the 20th century, Edward Hopper is a cultural icon- and the Edward House Art Center, located in Nyack, the birthplace and childhood home of the esteemed artist is about to launch the most significant undertaking in its nearly 40-year history UNIQUE CHALLENGES The Design Air located in Hillburn, NY and the Lennox team worked together for the exhibition which has to meet the stringent climate control requirements of the Whitney Museum. For a solution Lennox and local Lenox dealer Design Air of Hillburn, NY was selected to help provide the right climate control solution. The Design Air and Lennox team worked together to find the best solutions to the unique challenges of installing new climate control systems in a structure listed on the National Register of Historical Places. It was critical to maintain the environment within museum temperature and humidity standards for zero to 45 people. The house had no insulation and old windows, and the installers were required to use existing floor registers from the original 1920 coal-fired, octopus- style furnace. A comprehensive solution was accomplished through various Lennox state of the art equipment was installed throughout the Hopper House.
