Bring A Friend To Rowing Day - Open House
Saturday, July 11th - 9-11:30am

Nyack, NY -- River Rowing Association will be hosting the “Bring A Friend To Rowing Day” this Saturday, July 11th from 9-11:30am at the Rockland Lake State Park, lot #6 to provide a rowing experience for those ages 12 and older. Potential recruits can attend free of charge and will learn how to row on land using a rowing machine before going out on the water in a racing shell. Come learn about our program and the many benefits of rowing. Bagels and coffee will be provided.


To participate in the open house athletes must bring a signed release waiver. Download a copy of the 2015 USRowing Waiver and register using this form. You do not have to have a friend on the team to participate and there is no cost to participate other than the park entrance fee for cars of $8. Drop-offs are permitted outside the toll booth and it is a short walk to the boathouse from there.
