Land Sales in Today's Market, Snedens Pointe

The Rockland County Real Estate market has shown a nice increase in land sales recently. Several parcels in the southern end of the County have sold, and in Snedens Pointe in Palisades 4 more lots are on track to go Under Contract. In general there has been an increase in inquiries, and I have noticed that builders are starting to inquire about building on spec- which only a couple of years ago was something no builder was willing to do. Perhaps the "tides are changing" as they say as the flailing economy starts to shift ever so slowly. The spike in interest on the higher end of the luxury, real estate inventory has been a nice surprise. My inventory in the million plus category has had a huge increase in showings in both Snedens and the Nyacks. Hopefully, this uptick in activity will lead to closings. The value is certainly there, if you have the cash, or if you are able to get financing.
