If you live in Tappan, Orangeburg, Palisades, Sparkill, Blauvelt, or any other towns in Orangetown, then chances are you've heard of the wonderful book store called Books & Greetings in Northvale, NJ. It's located right over the Rockland border on Route 303.

Aside from the enormous selection of books, magazines, cards, gifts, etc., this independently owned shop features book signings by authors at least once a week.

On Oct. 27th Judy Collins, the legendary singer and songwriter will be making an appearance and signing her new book called "Sweet Judy Blue Eyes, My Life in Music".

She has also written a children's book "When You Wish Upon a Star", and she'll be signing that too.

Come and listen to her speak about her life in music and writing and you'll have a chance to ask her questions as well. Autographed copies of her books would make great gifts too.

Books & Greetings is located at 271 Livingston St. Northvale, NJ 07675, minutes to Rockland County on the Orangetown border. It's open on Sundays and is worth a look. Get on their mailing list and you'll get to meet many of your favorite authors.
