Jasper Johns, the great American contemporary artist, Stony Point homestead sells.  What an exciting experience for me, to be with my clients who are just in awe of this unique home, once owned by Jasper Johns. This old farmhouse, which was originally not at this location but moved here by Johns, is a house like no other.  Johns did some of his best work at this home. The home offers  full glass walls, which brings in the natural light, perfect for an artist. He also entertained some of the best in the dance world.  At the home is a picture of himself with choreographer Merce Cunningham, sitting outside at a picnic table enjoying the tranquil setting.  The picnic table is still there today.  Who knew this type of history was here in Stony Point?  How lucky we are to live in a community filled with such treasures, many we don't even know exists, until we stumble upon them.  How lucky I feel to have sold such a treasure to people who thoroughly appreciate all that this home has to offers.
