In Nyack Watching Ice Hockey At Yankee Stadium

As my Grandfather would have said . . . "Now I've seen everything!"  Who would think that one of the most iconic baseball fields would see outdoor ice hockey during January?  But, today the Devils and Rangers face off at Yankee Stadium and the Rangers will do a repeat on Wednesday night against the Islanders.

"You don't get a chance, you know, with cold toes and runny noses, that was hockey growing up," said Devils forward Ryan Carter. "It's been years since I felt those things, so it will be fun to get back and have those feelings again and remember hockey as a kid and playing outside."
It is freezing cold and there is snow on the ground, but that won't deter real hockey fans, or the players.  As for me, I think I'll watch it from a spot in front of my fireplace, all warm and toasty in Nyack!
