Holy Week in New City

Looking for a place to worship this Holy Week?  St. John's Church, 365 Strawtown Rd., New City offer a variety of services and events for the week.  This year on Good Friday, at 1pm, a solemn walk down Main St. New City will take place. Members of St. John's Episcopal Church along with members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church will gather in the parking lot of St. Paul's and walk down Main St. to the corner of Main and Second St.The procession will turn around and return to St. Paul's parking lot and then disperse quietly.  All will walk as one big group carrying crosses and small banners identifying who they are.  All are welcomed!!

7:30 pm, Holy Eucharist with music followed by Vigil in the Garden of Gethsemane

Good FridayMarch 29

9:30 am, Vigil ends with Communion from Reserved Sacrament

Noon, Good Friday Veneration of the Cross

1:00 pm, Ecumenical Good Friday Walk, Main Street, New City

7:30 pm, Good Friday Veneration of the Cross

Holy Saturday, March 30

8:00 pm, Easter Vigil Service at Grace Church, Nyack

Easter Sunday, March 31

8:30 am, Holy Eucharist with music

10:30 am, Holy Eucharist with music
