Holy Week In New City 2017

Living or visiting in the New City, NY area and looking for Holy Week services?  Journey with St. John's Episcopal Church through Holy Week to Easter.   Yesterday was Palm Sunday, and we were delighted to see some new faces as they worshiped with us.  The reading of the Passion was read by our youth, along with their mentors.  Maundy Thursday service will be a little different this year, with contemporary music on guitar, service begins  at 7:30pm.  Good Friday with 12 noon service will have Proper Liturgy, then 7:30pm Stations of the Cross will be led by our Young Adult Group.  Easter Sunday celebration at 9:30am, service will be sung Holy Eucharist with organ and choir.  Easter egg hunt to follow the service.  St. John's is located at 365 Strawtown Rd., New City, NY, 845-634-3601.
