Good afternoon everybody! How are you today! As Spring is now in its budding stages and you can see the young red buds on the trees of Hi-Tor Mountain overlooking the Village of Haverstraw, its truly an exhilarating feeling knowing what the full bloom of Spring can bring to each and everyone of us. Anyhoo, I'm writing today to let you know that the Haverstraw Farmer's Market, which gets under way on Sunday June 12th, received a 90K grant through the Village of Haverstraw to run for the next four years. I know June seems far away but, in a blink it will be here, and we will all ask, Where did the time go? If you have never been to the Farmers Market in Haverstraw, I can firmly say you are missing out, why? you ask... First off, good vendors, good food, good people and LIVE music that rocks! Music is what makes the world go round and I always feel the music (and sports) can bring people together anybody and everybody. Hope to see you at the corner of New Main and Maple on Sunday's during the summer!

Correction 4/14 - As per the Haverstraw Village board minutes While the Village of Haverstraw is obtaining the 90K grant, only a small undisclosed amount will be going to the farmers market so volunteers are still needed. When the exact amount of money is disclosed I will let all of my readers know how the grant money will be allocated.
