Great Hike From Nyack To Piermont

What a great day to hike from Nyack to Piermont.  It was suppose to be a rainy day, but when I woke up and the sun was shining, I knew we needed to take advantage of this beautiful day, a bonus day!  So after showing a house in Nyack, we decided to take on the 3.4 mile hike to Piermont.  Although it took about an hour to get to the old Piermont train station, the views of the Hudson River, Tappan Zee Bridge and homes along the path were amazing. There were bikers, runners and other walkers on path. If you are thinking of biking,  I would think a mountain bike would be best since it is hard packed gravel. The round trip adventure took about 2 hours, but it was level with really no inclines, so that made it easier.  Who would would think this little slice of heaven is only 20 miles away from NYC!
