Golf in Rockland County

I love golf -- really I do! And Rockland is a wonderful place to play. There are great private courses yes but Public courses here are wonderful. My favorite by far is in Ramapo, right in Suffern and next to Montabello. If you have never played Spook Rock you owe it to your inner golfer. It is a long and challenging course and the two nines couldn't be more different if they tried. There are great rates for Ramapo residents; and I believe a nice reciprocal relationship with Clarkstown. But even if you hail from Nyack or Tappan you can take advantage of the afternoon rates! Which really are a pittance in comparison to the quality of the golf. I also Love Blue Hill in Pearl River which when you are an Orangetown resident you pay barely anything to pay. And there are three wonderful nines. Fun holes and some lovely challenging shots to be made. Patriot Hills in Stony Point! A class act! Really. Good course and lots of fun. The State courses at Rotella in Haverstraw and Rockland Lake in Congers are also fun to practice. So get out there and Golf Rockland!
