Going From Nyack To Macys Balloon Inflation Activities

I haven't done this for a few years, but I have company coming to town for Thanksgiving week. We are planning to go watch the big balloons for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade get inflated the evening before the parade.

Watching these big balloons come to life is pretty amazing!  It takes a while to pump that much helium into those huge creatures. The festivities and action take place at the Museum of Natural History and the entrance to the viewing route is at 79th & Columbus.
Since parking is such an issue on a "normal" day, taking the train seems to be the most reasonable approach - and more relaxing than fighting traffic and then searching for a parking space. We'll go from Nyack to Tarrytown and take the Hudson Line into the City.  Looking forward to a fun evening (3 to 10 PM on November 27th) with a few thousand strangers, watching these forms come to life!
