For those of you who may have read my blog of 2 weeks ago you know that my husband and I went to see 2 wonderful movies in New City during the week, on a Tuesday night, and a Wednesday night. We saw a total of 4 people besides ourselves in the theater.
We went back last week to see Philomena and we were the ONLY 2 people in the entire theater. It was on a Wednesday night, the tickets were $7 each, and literally no one was there.

Please...if you are a movie buff, especially of independent and foreign films, I implore you to support this theater. It is so convenient to get to from Suffern, or Nyack, and any town in between. It's located in the New City shopping center so there is plenty of parking and during the week the ticket prices can't be beat! Why go to a mall and pay top dollar? The seats area very comfortable and no more paying the tolls on the Tappan Zee Bridge to see films.
Why is it that Westchester can support these types of theaters and Rockland can't? Spread the word and I hope to see more people enjoying this great theater and the films that they present.
