Fishing In Rockland County

Ok -- so as the year has gone on, I have gone outdoors more and more. I found I love fishing! Whether I am casting in the little lake in Pearl River's Veterans Park, or taking a boat out on the Lake in Rockland in Congers; or perhaps finding a spot along the Hudson in Stony Point. You can outfit yourself with gear in Sloatsburg or Haverstraw at Davis' or even a wonderful small shop in Nanuet called ShuFly (From what I understand they make great fly-fishing rods but I haven't started that obsession yet). So find a small lake a pond or even register with United Water and you can fish the reservoirs in Tappan and Nortth Rockland.
