First Experience With Red Bull In Nyack

I drove myself and my 2 chocolate labs from Nyack to the Iowa/Illinois border last Tuesday to attend my nephew's wedding. It's about a 14.5 hour trip and I normally make it without an overnight stop. Going was no problem. The return trip, however, after days and nights of pre-wedding and post-wedding activities and lack of sleep, proved to require a little more "oomph" than either cola or iced tea can deliver.

So, after pulling over and taking my 3rd power nap yesterday, I bought my very first ever Red Bull "energy drink."  Not a fabulous taste, but let me say that the last 5+ hours of the trip went by without any signs of being tired.  As a matter of fact, I'm not sure I blinked between the Ohio/Pennsylvania border and Nyack! (Just kidding!)  I would have to say, also, that I still had enough energy to unpack, put everything away where it belongs, run outside with the dogs, and then spend another couple of hours catching up on emails from the comfort of my home in Central Nyack.  I checked to see what is in a can of Red Bull and now am not sure it was the Red Bull or the thought of the "energy" that should come out of that can that helped, but whatever it was, it worked!  And I'm just glad to be back home.
