Family Swim at the Nyack YMCA

Well, I finally took advantage of the swimming available to us Nyack YMCA members. My little 3 year old loves the water, so off we went to go swimming in the middle of the winter...right here in Nyack. We had a blast. There were other parents with their children, plenty of flotation devices, and two lifeguards. I tied a couple of little floaties to my little girl and off she went. The pool is a good size..60 ft long and 20 ft wide. There are several times...Fridays 6-8pm/ Saturday 2:45-4:45pm/ and Sunday 2:00-4:30pm. The Y says they keep the pool around 83 degrees, however, it felt a tad cold. For the adults, you can just jump into the spa hot tub....that's 102 degrees. Nice! They also have year-round aquatic programs for kids of all ages. Its a great way to spend a cold day in Nyack.
