Enjoy Nyack Halloween Parade

Nyack will have its 24th annual Halloween Parade (the biggest Halloween Parade outside of New York City) on Saturday, October 22nd. 2011 (rain date Sunday October 24). 

There will be five Rockland County high school marching bands - these are very talented students, can't wait to see this - also featured will be performers from Amazing Grace Circus, walking on stilts, puppeteering with 15 foot puppets, and more!

There is even a doggy costume contest sponsored by My-Buddy-N-Me of Nyack!

To participate in this year's parade, please register with the Chamber of Commerce of the Nyacks 845-353-2221, www.nyackchamber.org.

Assembly is at 4:00 pm on the upper level of Memorial Park (intersection of Depew and Piermont).  Step-off is at 5:30 sharp; marchers will proceed south on Piermont Avenue, West onto Cedar Hill Avenue, North on Broadway to Main Street, West on Main Street to Franklin, and South on Franklin to Artopee Way.  The parade will end at our the Halloween Stage in te Nyack Municipal Parking Lot at Riverspace.

Live music and entertainment at the Riverspace Parking Lot beginning at 3:00 pm, music will be provided by Anjel Blue Studios.

Registered Costumed Marchers are eligible for prices (celbrity guest judge):

$1000 Grand Prize, Best Float

$ 300 Judge's Choice

$ 250 Best Adult Costume

Gift certificates for other categories including:  Best Children's Costume, Best Groupo, Best Family, and even best Ghouls!
