The Clarkstown South's Outdoor Shopping Extravaganza will soon be here. This is an event sponsored by the school's club, Assets Leadership team, to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Shopping Extravaganza is on Saturday, April 28th from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Germonds Pool Parking Lot, Germonds Rd., West Nyack, NY and will feature 35 vendors, including jewelry, clothing, home goods, food products, toys, accessories, gift baskets, music items, fitness programs, environmental issues and more. The high school and middle school students will be setting up an arts and crafts table for young shoppers (or children who need something to do while their Moms shop!!) Some of our school teams; golf, lacrosse and football will also have tables, selling fundraising items, "Support our Troops" bracelets and food.

Some of Clarkstown High Schoold's clubs (Assets Leadership, VAASA, SADD and DECA) will be selling South magnets and teeshirts. There will be food vendors all day: breakfast and coffee by the South Grad night committee, lunch by the Viking Touchdown Club and Boys Lacrosse, American Burrito, Chefs2be, pulled pork, mac and cheese, popcorn and pretzels, and Kangaroo Swirls ice cream truck.

The Town of Clarkstown has generously donated the snow mobile for the day so there will be wonderful non-stop entertainment. There will be outstanding performances by student singers, Soiuth's Spirit Hip Hop dancers, a local chorus group, Irish step dancers, a boys Hip-Hop group and much more. There will also be surprise guests all day, including the Viking mascot and Boulder Bird!

This is going to be a great family day, filled with shopping, eating, playing and arts and crafts, and the best part is that all the money raised will go towards making a child's wish come true! The rain date for the event is Sunday, April 29 from 9 until 2.

Please come out and support the Clarkstown South High School Students in such a wonderful community event!
