Calling All Firefighters In New City

New City Fire Engine Co. No. 1 will be holding an Open House this Sunday 4/24/16 from 9a.-3pm. The firehouse is located at 15 Maple Ave., New City.  If you or someone you know is interested in learning how to join the fire department, this would be a great opportunity to find out what it takes to be a volunteer firefighter. The Open House is a part of FASNY "RecruitNY" program, which is a statewide program hoping to recruit new members.  There are a few things to keep in mind pertaining to age and residency, so you may want to check out their website at  www.newcityfire.org for all the details.
