Thinking of moving to Orange County?    

Well when you do get ready to enjoy the BEST SMALL LIBRARY in America - the Albert Wisner Library .. right here in Warwick New York.  

The award was announced this week buy the Library Journal (a highly respected trade publication) and also includes, a very generous, $20,000 cash prize funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

When my family and I moved to Warwick in 1990 our Public Library was a very small building that was built in the early 1920's - located right on the corner of Colonial Avenue (also called Main Street) near the Post Office.  It was a great place but as our community kept growing and growing .. our small Library was really getting tight.  So with a little vision from our Town Planners and approved community budget of $8+ Million a wonderful new Library was built and completed in 2009.

                                                                 But not just any Library .. its now the BEST SMALL LIBRARY in America!   

Personally I love going to the library just for down time. Plug in your PC, get free access to high speed wi-fi and catch up on work in a very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.  There are sitting rooms, conference rooms, audio rooms, vast children section on the lower floor, couches, work tables, full set of newspapers and periodicals (you can catch up on almost every magazine printed in the US).  Plus if you need any help librarians are there to not only look up the book for you.. they will walk you to the shelf to find it (talk about customer service!).  See photos below.
