Botanical Gardens Thailand Orchid Show Is Just A Short Drive From Nyack

The New York Botanical Gardens is holding its 15th annual Orchid show from February 18th through April 9th at its magical grounds in the Bronx. Just a short drive from Rockland, you can be mesmerized by flowers that even Timothy Leary couldn’t have dreamt up on his best day. The colors and patterns never cease to amaze me.  This year’s Thailand theme pays homage to the cultural history and more than 1200 native orchid species found there. Thailand is the world’s leading exporter of cultivated tropical orchids.

Follow up your trip with an authentic Italian dinner on nearby Arthur Avenue and you will have had a near perfect day.Image title
