Finally after years of waiting Baumgarts has opened it's Nyack location. I have been going to the Englewood resturant for over 20 years so this is particuarly good news for me. I have probably sampled every dish on the menu in the Englewood location. I went there with my family and some friends last Saturday night. The renovation is beautiful -the interior is spacious and modern with both inside and outside seating. We ordered dumplings, chicken with pine nuts and lettuce wraps, sesame chicken and the duck. Although they are still working out some opening kinks overall service was good and the food excellent. After we finished dinner, we went to the old fashioned ice cream counter at the front of the resturant. The homemade ice cream and the egg creams were delicious and calorie worthy :). I am looking forward to many great dinners and dessets....
