Last night was Back to School Night at the Nyack Middle School. There were cookies in the hallway for tired parents, and the excitement  was contagious. We  got to see first hand how our kids get from one class to the next with only 2 minutes between each class. We went from the third floor to the second floor several time. We were definitely exhausted by the end of the evening, but were thoroughly impressed with the administration and the teachers. We are so lucky here in Nyack to have such high caliber teachers working with our children. There was even a two minute blackout which gave us a chance to admire the full moon over the Hudson River without the distraction of classroom lights. The evening was great fun. Nyack Middle School has some of the finest river views in Nyack!
