ARE WE BORN TO ENJOY EXERCISE
For years I have wondered why so few people regularly exercise when we know that we should. Of course there are some obvious reasons, including poor health and jammed schedules, however maybe all this can be worked within the type of exercise we do.
There are ways to enjoy exercise without realizing you are actually doing it. Have you ever danced and after a few rounds on the floor, sat down in a sweaty mess with a giant smile on your face? That is exercise! With hiking and walking one can be exposed to incredible scenery, and you can do this while talking about business and life. Roughhousing with your kids in the back yard, working at a standing desk, playing video games that make you active, and even playing a musical instrument can all contribute to your fitness.
So, in essence, exercise does not mean running on a treadmill. When you say "but I don't like exercising," what you're really saying is "I don't enjoy that particular type of exercise".
