A Fun Day At Warwick Winery

Since last Saturday was such a beautiful day, my husband and I decided to check out Warwick Winery, it's only about 45 mins from New City.  I had looked it up, and they have a cafe, live music and wine tasting, sounded like it would be a great afternoon.  Apparently, I wasn't the only one who thought so.  From what I was told, they estimated about 4000 people were there.  Not only for the wine tasting, but for apple picking, and picnicking.  People from NY and NJ, were there with  coolers, blankets and lawn chairs just enjoying the day.  Needless to say, eating at the cafe didn't happen, at least an hour wait but we did get to participate in the wine tasting.  They offer 6 different wines to taste for $5, plus you get to bring your wine glass home. We ended up in downtown Warwick for lunch, lots of options, and a great vibe.  Overall, it was a great day, but next time I may pick a weekday, will be much less crowded!Image title
