Slide The City In Nyack

The last time I mentioned that "Slide the City" was coming to Nyack, one of my friends misunderstood and thought that a slide was being run from Nyack to NYC. Hahaha. That would be some slide! But the company "Slide the City" brings 1000 feet of slick vinyl to a city street and people can slide down the street safely! (See video attached.) 

There had been some question as to whether or not the event would occur, because of the county water restrictions. The organizers have agreet to truck in water from New Jersey and points north to not be in violation of the water restrictions. The County Health Department is satisfied, so the Slide will arrive and be active this weekend, Saturday, August 27th from 9AM to 6PM.
