Sir James Galway Comes To Nyack
Yes the temperature has plummeted to below freezing and will stay this way for several more days, we are in winter after all. However instead of sitting around and complaining about the cold, why not start to think ahead and plan some spring events. It won't make the cold disappear or make the winter go faster, but at least you'll have something to look forward to and plan for.
A truly great event on the horizon takes place on Thursday March 26th at the First Reformed Church of Nyack. Sir James Galway, "the man with the golden flute", and his wife Lady Jeanne Galway, both world renowned musicians and flutists will be performing to support ArtsRock of Rockland. They will also be chatting with radio WQXR's Elliot Forrest of Nyack. The concert begins at 8 pm and there is an after party at the First Niagara Bank at 9 pm which is located across the street from the church.
The $85 ticket price will include the performance and the conversation benefit, preferred seating, meet and greet with the artists, and a catered after party with libations provided by Chef Kevin Reilly and Maria Santini of the Roost Restaurant of Sparkill.
So, get your tickets early and think spring! Contact ArtsRock.org for more information.
Hope to see you there!
