As we sit through yet another rainy weekend I wonder where the sun is? Turns out this is nowhere near a record breaking rainfall year. That distinction belongs to 2017 where over 68 inches
Fall Foliage Is Underway
The Fall foliage season is undergoing across the state. This Past weekend, while traveling from Piermont, thru the Nyacks, and Rte. 9w in Congers to Stony Point and Cold Spring, we saw the trees having peak colors evident on between 65-75% of the trees.
One of the ways we chose to enjoy the colors of fall was to exit our comfortable car at Bear Mountain and West Point, and hike to enjoy some of the most spectacular views along the Hudson. Some of the most beautiful views were along the river front.
This coming weekend, we will be traveling from Valley Cottage to Columbia & Green Counties, and hopefully, the foliage will continue to have a significant amount of color--either way, I will appreciate the beauty of having real seasonal weather changes.
