School Time getting close in Clarkstown
Attention Clarkstown students and parents, the time is getting closer.....school supply shopping time is here!! If you are a parent of a student in Clarkstown, and if you are anything like me, you can't stand this process. But I have good news, the Clarkstown School District webstite, http://www.ccsd.edu , has posted the supply lists. This will certainly make it easier for you to buy for your student. Time is on your side,not like the days when I was a Clarkstown student. Every kid was at Drug World at 3:10 buying what their teachers had told them they needed. It was a free for all, and my mother always had to go back out that night to get a few things we forgot. It was sheer madness.
This is a much better method, even better than when my children were in elementary school. I received a list with my child's teacher assignment, usually a few days before the first day of school. It was still a mad dash to a variety of stores. So I suggest you check out the list on the website, and start your shopping. Hopefully you will be able to find all that is on your list. Happy school shopping.
