Rockland Lake State Park Offers Free Senior Access
New York State has what is called the Golden Park Program, whereby if you are a New York State resident 62 or over, you may obtain free access, weekdays (except holidays), to the following state run facilities: free vehicle access to state parks, boat launch sites and some arboretus. Free reduction to state historic sites and state run golf courses. This access will only be allowed if space is available. All one has to do is present a valid New York State Drivrs License or New York State Non-Driver's Identification Card.
