Piermont will hold it's Annual Bastille Day celebration on July 11th from noon to 10 p.m., Piermont Avenue will be closed to traffic for the village’s annual Bastille Day celebration. French flags will flap along the avenue where restaurants and shops will have outdoor tables. The streets will fill with live music and the pleasant aromas of traditional French, Italian, Continental, Mexican, Irish and American cuisine served by local restaurants.

Come dressed in period clothes for a costume concert (18th century) and the reenactment of the Bastilled Day march.  One can also take part in a French bowling competition -- Pétanque.  ther ewill be a guillotine on display along with street vendors --- glass blower, restaurants will serve food outdoors, and sketch artists.  Last year was super fun....I am sure this year will be also.
