A Real Bargain in Sparkill

I see some truly beautiful houses when I go on broker open house tours every Tuesday.  There was one on River Road in grandview today- a gorgeous stunner for  two mil and change.  But the house that really excited me this afternoon is in Sparkill on Van Terrace, MLS #522705.  So what makes it so special?  Well, let's start with the price: $298,000.  Yes, it's a smaller house, with two bedrooms and one and a half baths, but it's a solid older brick house on almost nine-tenths of an acre with a two car garage, and I have a soft spot for older homes with character.  Sand and varnish the hardwood floors, add some spackle and paint, and someone will have a gem of a home.   And it's close to Tallman State Park, a hidden gem itself.  Interested?  I'm ready, if you are.
