I'm a sap for cookbooks - especially those that come with little personal snippets from the chef. I read the ingredients and directions and can imagine the taste, texture, and appearance.  Now there's a chance to support a great cause while acquiring a cookbook that includes over 100 recipes from 80 professional female chefs from across the country.  The book, entitled "Better Things to Come," includes not only the recipes but personal and heartfelt stories from the chefs, telling about how cooking is a way of sharing stories and passing along family traditions.

Proceeds benefit Rockland's Center for Safety & Change located in New City but serving victims of domestic violence throughout Rockland from Nyack to Suffern, Palisades to Tomkins Cove and everywhere in between.  To acquire your copy, you can contact the Center for Safety & Change in New City (845-634-3391.)  Bon Appetit!
