Nyack Library’s Local Authors Program welcomes author Peter Danish on June 23 at 7 PM. Danish will read passages from his new novel, Medjugorje: The Final Prophecy. The novel is set in the famous town in Bosnia that draws pilgrims from all over the world. Since 1981, messages and apparitions of the Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus, have been reported at this small town.

The multi-talented Danish has authored well-received novels, musicals, plays, and freelance nonfiction articles. He is also Editor in Chief of music website BWW Classical and Director of Marketing for the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.

A review on The Huffington Post cited the novel as seeming "Like a modern-day version of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. "
