The Keep Rockland Beautiful campaign rears its ugly head for yet another year!  Community-motivated volunteers spend a couple of hours each year at this time cleaning up roadsides, parkland and stream beds, and, belive it or not, making a difference.  Remember when you were a kid, and was told to pick up trash?  The uniform response was always, " But I didn't do it."  Now is your chance to make up for that whopper, and feel a lot better about yourself and your neighborhood at the same time.  The clean-ups will take place on Saturday, April 20 in Pearl River, Piermont, Sparkill and Tappan, Sunday April 21 in Nyack, and Saturday, April 27 in Blauvelt.  For exact times and places, go to www.KeepRockland Beautiful.org, or call 845 708-9164.  See you-I'll be the one knee deep in the Sparkill Creek, pulling out that old tire.
