Historic Tappan Holiday Stroll
This Monday evening, December 12, will see the second annual Holiday Stroll on Main Street in historic Tappan. From 7 to 9 PM, Main Street will be closed to trafffic, and hundreds of revelers will enjoy caroling by the Tappan Zee Madrigal Singers, arts and crafts at the Tappan Library for the kids, and hot chocolate and cookies courtesy of the 76 House and others. The firehouse Christmas tree will be lit, there will be readings by yours truly in Dickensian garb, Santa will arrive via firetruck, and a good time will be had by all. No humbugs allowed!
